Zarafa - It's never been easier to share Outlook information with a standard
Linux Server.
Whether you use Outlook or our web client or your PDA you can share email,
calendars and contacts seemlessly.
Mail
Access mail via Outlook, web, PDA or IMAP. Zarafa supports shared mailboxes,
junk mail folders and distribution lists. The Zarafa Outlook client
installs in minutes and can be mass deployed with standard tools.
Calendar
Manage and share your calendar with any supported Outlook or any standard
iCal client.
Shared calendars can even be used to manage the
availability of resources, like meeting rooms or cars, within your
company.
Contacts
You probably manage
your contacts in Outlook. But with Zarafa, you can share your business
contacts through a public contacts folder. Even distribution lists can
be created, so you may send the same email easily to a group.
Tasks
Besides your personal list of todo's,
a shared task list is also available. By using this list, you can see
in one overview which tasks are still open. Detail your tasks with
information like time, date, owner and priority. You can even send
tasks over the email to your colleagues.
Integration
Zarafa fits in many spots. An Active Directory gateway makes Zarafa
fit easily into Microsoft environments. An OpenLDAP interface simplifies Zarafa
user administration for Linux shops. A pop/imap gateway lets clients of all
types use Zarafa. An iCal gateway frees you to choose your calendar app and
Mac's are not second class citizens. Finally ZPush keeps all of your PalmOS and other mobile
devices connected and up to date.
